The Costa de Valencia is both a cultural offer of quality and a resplendent coastline. Located on the province of the same name, it is renowned for its wonderful Mediterranean beaches that contrast with the surrounding mountains.

Valencia, the capital of the province and also the third largest city in Spain, is a destination of choice for the Mediterranean coastline. This ancient Roman city founded in 138 BC. J-C has enjoyed great prosperity for centuries, enabling it to develop its heritage and enhance its culture. The Llotja de la Seda ("Silk Lodge") is one of the symbols of the economic power of the city. This monument of the 15th century hosted the Valencia trading exchange and the merchant's court. A fine example of the Valencian Gothic style, its façade and its sumptuous interior decor have earned it the status of UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. It is now the City of Arts and Sciences in the heart of the city. Valencia that attracts all eyes. This set of cultural monuments was inaugurated in 1998 on the old bed of the river Túria. They share a futuristic architecture that reflects the themes of each building. Built in the shape of a human eye, the Hemisferic has a planetarium and a cinema with 300 seats. The incredible Science Museum Príncipe Felipe takes the form of a whale skeleton. Its motto ? "Forbidden not to touch, not to think, not to feel." Finally, Oceanographic hosts marine mammals and several hundred species of fish in its water lily-like building. What a great family day !

About fifty kilometers south of the capital, one comes to enjoy one of the most beautiful coastal cities of the region : Cullera, located at the foot of the mountain of the same name, it is bathed by both the Mediterranean Sea and The river Jucar. Built in the 10th century by the Caliphate of Cordoba, this jewel of Muslim military art watched the coast and the mouth of the river in order to ensure the defense of the territory. From its heights, it offers a panoramic view of the bay and the outskirts of the city. Cullera, it is also eleven wonderful beaches where the leisure are numerous.
