Exuberant and contrasting city, the capital of the Kingdom conceals innumerable treasures like the royal palace which shelters the emerald Buddha, emblem of the country. But also visit the temples of Wat Pho with its impressive reclining Buddha, Wat Traimit with its golden Buddha and Wat Saket which offers a beautiful panorama over the city. Then visit the Erawan Museum in the heart of a three-headed elephant statue and the Vimanmek Residence, the largest teak building in the world.

After this visit of the capital, discover the hinterland and in particular the province of Udon Thani, near the Laotian border. You can visit the Erawan cave and the archaeological site of Ban Chiang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Treat yourself to a boat cruise on the sea of red lotus, a lake that is covered, from December to March, with these beautiful sacred flowers. But also enjoy the beautiful temple of Wat Pa Phu Kon, with a beautiful blue roof and built after and around a gigantic statue of Buddha lying.
