Camping Domaine de Dugny 4*

A few setbacks that disrupted our stay. Fortunately, the manager is at the top of her game. No TV on the 1st night, well the 2nd and 3rd. Not easy to occupy the evening with little ones in bed at 8:30 pm. A power cut on the 2nd night, no heating but especially no electricity in the morning when we had planned to leave at 9am for Beauval zoo, difficult to get ready in the dark and without hot water. A small scare with the inventory in which a number of electrical appliances were missing. In short, the mobile home is very nice but our 3 days were not perfectly zen. And then, for the future, plan a small list of instructions for the tenants such as: what to do with the garbage, where is the charger for the vacuum cleaner. One Loire Valley castle visited per day

Super mobile home with more than expected (2 bathrooms instead of 1, mobile air conditioning) Quiet location despite the number of mobile homes Very good kids club. Good general organization with respect to the covid. Very nice staff Good entertainment. Quality aquatic area but too small for the number of campers. Impossible to swim when the camp was far from full. We really bump into each other....What would happen if the camp was full? For me, this is the black spot of this domain. With more than 400 mobile homes, the water space is completely undersized. What a pity! 2nd black spot: no wifi outside the reception area and no telephone access. Very good stay with a perfect welcome! The mobile home is well equipped, located in a quiet area but not far from the entertainment and aquatic center

This campsite is frankly very good and deserves to be more known. Once you're back you've got everything you need for a campsite like this: Swimming pool (regulated access with covid but good, swimming pool anyway), ping pong table, tennis (we lend you rackets/balls for free), mini golf (we lend you the equipment for free), pedal boat on the small pond behind (no swimming in the pond ;) ), volleyball field, football city, leisure area for the little ones, a club to welcome your children every morning and I forget some. Everything I just mentioned is available for free at the campsite. Otherwise the campsite is well placed and the mobile homes are recent. So I only give it three stars because the reception is deplorable. You feel like you're bothering every person you ask for something. This is true everywhere (swimming pool, reception, bar...) The staff tells us lies to stop talking to them. We had a dishwasher problem and we were clearly lied to. In short, I've already had "cold" greetings, but never something like that. In the end, we took a break during the holidays to enjoy, but it was not a pleasant stay because of that. I don't want to go back and I recommend you not to go there.Lire la suite
