The small village of Fontvieille lies in the wonderful setting of the Alpilles Regional Natural Park, just between Arles and Les Baux-de-Provence. Gateway to the Vallée des Baux, Fontvieille is one of the pearls of the Alpilles Massif, whose history dates back to prehistoric times. What is surprising when you enter the village after having crossed the Alpilles, dotted with green fields and olive groves, is without a doubt its built heritage.
