Just on the border between Upper Corsica and South Corsica to which it is attached, the commune of Partinello is the perfect place for your holiday under the sun of the Île-de-Beauté. Well, perfect, if and only if you are one of those who dream of beaches to bask on, turquoise water to swim in, and rugged mountains to hike in complete tranquillity! Ah, are you in? Then pack your bags, hop hop hop hop, off to Partinello!

Watered by the warm waters of the Gulf of Porto, Partinello is located in one of the most sought-after corners of Corsica. Housed in the Deux-Sevi micro-region, between the mouths of the Vetricella and the Pilatri stream, the village dominates the west coast of the island. Built during the 18th century, the village clinging to its mountains boasts splendid old houses made of reddish cut stones, typical of the region. On entering Partinello, it is impossible to miss its pebble-covered fountain, or its church of St. Anthony of Padua, recognizable by its red stones. But let it be said that what makes Partinello so charming is above all its natural heritage, so after taking the time to visit the heart of the village, head for the Gradelle-Caspiu site and the Bussaghia site, two listed natural sites owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral (Coastal Conservatory). Equipped with good walking shoes, you will discover along the coast of Partinello breathtaking landscapes, and a jagged coastline that plunges into the sea to form small paradisiacal coves where you dream of settling down for a lazy interlude. If the experienced hikers will revel in sporting hikes through the mountains, the olive groves and the volcanic rocks of Corsica's relief (especially towards the Melza pass), the adepts of leisurely walks will also be able to take advantage of a whole arsenal of marked paths, perfect for discovering the contours of the village and the astonishing beauty of its landscapes. Two sites are particularly worth a visit: Punta Bianca and Punta Rossa, two peaks that surround the beaches of the seaside resort. To discover them, there is nothing better than to take the "Route des Plages". Located on the D81, it will allow you to discover from above the beaches, the mountains, but also the Col de la Croix from which the view is incomparable on the gulf of Porto and Girolata.
