Pietrosella, a town in Corsica situated about 20 kilometres from Ajaccio, has something to make hearts turn over. Authentic, full of charm, this small town made of old stones in warm colours smells of tradition, and the perfume of Corsica, the real thing, as we like it. Pietrosella is coiled up on its rock beaten by the waves for centuries and centuries, and time seems to have stopped here to show visitors only the most beautiful. A village on a balcony overlooking the sea, clinging to the mountains, it is home to a splendid heritage, typical of the Isle of Beauty. The Genoese Tower of Isolella, built in 1608, is worth seeing, as are the old houses (from the 18th to the 20th century) and the old bread ovens that dot the town. Take the time to discover the mill "di a casa bianca" built in 1786 in the heart of the village's cork oak forest, before venturing to the Eagle Rock. Situated right next to the ancient cemetery of Cruciata, this marvellous viewpoint surrounded by fragrant and generous local vegetation is a fantastic viewpoint, a must see: from the heights you can enjoy a unique panorama of the village, but also of the sea and the beaches. After having taken the time to walk through the eucalyptus forest of Chiavari, take the direction of the treasure of Pietrosella: its beaches!

Our advice: go around the peninsula of Isolella. White sand, turquoise sea, here, everything is done so that even the most reticent succumb in an instant to the Corsican charm.
