Its long stretches of white sand and crystal clear waters make it an attractive and pleasant seaside resort, perfect for a romantic getaway as well as for a vacation with friends or family.

Start your visit at the port of Porto-Vecchio, from which you will have a breathtaking view of the citadel and the heights of the city; take the time to walk along the moored boats and admire the green massifs of the region, in order to discover a breathtaking landscape that is worth the detour no matter what time of the year you discover it. Finally, enter the city of Porto-Vecchio through the Genoese gate. Discover the citadel, its ramparts, and take the time to stroll through the streets to discover the beauty of Porto-Vecchio's heritage. Our advice? Take a break at Place de la République: from this central point of the citadel, it is the perfect place to have a coffee break in the shade of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church. The square is full of ice cream shops, restaurants and other small stores, it is a real concentrate of authenticity and we love it.

After the visit of the city, you will only wait for one thing: to see the sea, and to swim there! Then, head to the beach of Palombaggia. Lined with maritime pines, it is certainly one of the most beautiful beaches that you will have the opportunity to see: its turquoise and sparkling water as well as its paradisiacal landscape call for moments of calm and relaxation, in the heart of a real postcard setting! Just next door is the beach of Acciaju: its clear bay, its white sand and its coastline lined with pine trees make it a preserved site, much less frequented than the beach of Palombaggia, which will lend itself wonderfully to your more intimate interludes. Finally, don't leave without having put your parasol on the side of the bay of Santa Giulia, a must for lovers of fine sand. In the south of the Gulf of Porto-Vecchio, located at the foot of the mountain, explore this lagoon with fins and snorkels: its turquoise and shallow water is ideal for children, but not only! The bay of Santa Giulia is indeed one of the most dynamic nautical bases of the region (in addition to being one of the most magnificent!), and you will be able to do water skiing, fly boarding, boating and scuba diving according to your desires.

Many activities are also offered to holidaymakers along the Corsican coastline: on foot, on horseback or by bike you will discover the hidden treasures of this magnificent region thanks to numerous hiking trails. Extreme sports enthusiasts can even try their hand at climbing, canyoning and parachute jumping in a heavenly setting!

Porto-Vecchio is a dynamic city, and for a few years now it has also been the capital of the party scene: trendy restaurants and wine bars rub shoulders with the city's discotheques where numerous DJs perform. Make a day catamaran trip with Stef from the catamaran "Pourkoipa": dive near a wreck and stop near a cove for paddle and snorkeling activities then barbecue on the boat! Then, we set sail towards a small beach! A crazy atmosphere!

The town itself, the natural pools of Vacu, the beaches of Pinarellu (with children it's very nice). We strongly advise against going by boat to see the sea bed. We only see a few fish, always the same ones. Very boring and expensive.
