Attached to the magnificent commune of Conca, Tarco is a seaside resort absolutely ideal for stays under the Corsican sun. Paradisiac thanks to its immense white sand beach more than 300 meters long, Tarco is the sweetness of life incarnated. With its numerous restaurants with their feet in the water, its mini golf and its small walking paths, this small (but so charming!) seaside resort is a peaceful place to stay all year round, especially in the summer period when it is not very busy, guaranteeing a place for those who like to laze on the beach where they can spread their towels. A must to do? Stroll along the entire cove of Tarco (or Tarcu) in the early morning, to savour the beauty of the rising sun at sea, or opt for a short walk in the sunset for magical moments, with the bright colors of the sky reflected in the sea. In addition to being a magnificent postcard of your holidays, with the marvellous needles of Bavella in the background, the beach of Tarco is perfect for swimming as well as for sailing, paddle, and water sports activities that will delight thrill-seekers.

The other asset of Tarco? Its location. Located at the very edge of the Corsican coast, the village is adored by walkers and mountain bikers, who stay there to discover all the beauty of the coast. Thus, thanks to a network of marked footpaths for pedestrians, riders and cyclists, you can discover Lecci further south, famous for its Pinarello beach, but also the Piscia di Ghjaddu waterfall inland, or head for Porto-Vecchio. A cultural and gourmet destination renowned for its gulf from which you can embark on cruises to discover the wonders of the coast, Porto-Vecchio is one of the most touristic destinations of the Isle of Beauty, to be visited both for its numerous infrastructures and for the magnificence of its Palombaggia beach, reputed to be one of the most beautiful in all Corsica. Further north of Tarco, make a stopover on the magnificent beach of Canella in the seaside resort of Sari-Solenzara, before crossing the border of Upper Corsica to discover coastal towns such as Ghisonaccia, the Etang del Salé, Aléria and the Etang de Diane.
