Watered by the Frout, the Kerrus, the Kérallé and the Rest, Plounévez-Lochrist has many small green valleys, perfect for hiking. The town has some beautiful sites to see during your visit: the parish church, the chapel of Lochrist, the 6 old mills, but also the Château de Maillé are worth a visit. The latter, typically Breton, is located very close to an old feudal mound and seems to date from the 14th century.

Bordered by the clear waters of the English Channel, Plounévez-Lochrist has beautiful beaches, family-friendly and perfect for a few moments of calm. The latter are sheltered by the high dunes of Keremma, ideal for walks with the immensity of the sea as a backdrop. If you are more fond of idleness, you should know that the town has more than 6 kilometres of fine sandy beaches... In other words, it will be easy for you to find a place to plant your parasol! Kerrema beach will suit a rather sporty public, thanks to the presence of a sliding school offering a whole range of water sports: surfing, paddle, kitesurfing... The neighbouring beach of Le Mean also has a beautiful area dedicated to kitesurfing and windsurfing, on the side of Kernic Bay, as well as vast areas suitable for swimming in clear waters.

Finally, coming to Plounévez-Lochrist on holiday is also the opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful sites in Brittany. Not far away, the castle of Kerjean is worth a visit, as is the famous and elegant seaside resort of Roscoff and its exotic garden (25 kilometres away), not to mention the island of Batz (accessible by boat from Roscoff), the Armorique Regional Natural Park (45 minutes away), Brest (45 minutes away), the Pointe de Saint-Mathieu, the Petit Minou lighthouse, the Kermorvan lighthouse, the Crozon peninsula (75 kilometres), or the superb Ménez Ham beach in Kerlouan...
