Lodged on its natural promontory at the bottom of an estuary, Pont-Croix, Petite Cité de Caractère, blossoms over the Goyen, a coastal river that delights walkers with its meanders. Capital of Cap-Sizun, in Finistère, Pont-Croix is a medieval city with legendary charm, which from its old stones, plunges you in a wink in the heart of history. Here, the narrow streets are winding, tangled, cobbled and flanked by old houses built around THE star of the village, its collegiate church. A real treasure of Breton architectural heritage, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame de Roscudon is the beating heart of the town. Surprising and fascinating, it amazes by its proportions and its monumental architecture, inspired by both the Romanesque and Gothic periods. If it is worth a visit, it is also the starting point of several small quiet walks in the city of Pont-Croix, like the "Circuit of chapels and churches" which will allow you to discover the richness of the religious heritage of the city. Thus, during your excursions, you will discover the unique character of the religious heritage of the Cap-Sizun, passing by the chapel of Saint-They on the cliffs of the Pointe du Van, or by the colossal chapel of Saint-Tugen on the road to the Pointe du Raz. The Maison du Marquisat and its Heritage Museum, the Saint-Vincent chapel, the fountains, the Manor of Pors Lesguen on the Place de l'Église, the Manor of Trémaria and the Keridreuff mill will complete your visit.
