Between sea, sand and forest, this seaside resort has all the ingredients for the ideal holiday recipe, combining sport and nature.
Around fifty kilometres from Bordeaux, Lacanau Océan is one of the most important seaside resorts on the Atlantic coast. Sheltered by dunes and surrounded by nature, the beaches of Lacanau seduce every year many holidaymakers, bathers as surfers. The "North Beach" is the largest since it spreads over several kilometres : it is very appreciated by surfers who, from sunrise to sunset, come here to try to tame the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The "Central Beach" and the "South Beach" are also very popular surf spots in the region, although less frequented than the "North Beach". The "Super Sud" beach is certainly the wildest in Lacanau Ocean: much less popular than the previous ones since it is located in an unsupervised area, it is conducive to long relaxation breaks facing the sea.
