In the Gironde department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Naujac-sur-Mer is a small village located 10 kilometers from Hourtin, in the heart of a thick forest planted with maritime pines. A rather quiet destination, it is one of the most attractive towns on the coast thanks to its balanced dynamism, its dreamy landscapes and the beauty of its nature. In the village, the houses are elegant, authentic, like the church made of cut stone, absolutely unique in the Médoc for its architecture as well as for its bells and its quality clocks.

Oh yes, it must be said that here, nature lovers are spoiled thanks to kilometers and kilometers of bicycle paths and other hiking trails with the scent of pine trees. On foot, you can also walk along the dune, wild and fragile, but which offers from its heights beautiful walks to make, and splendid panoramas to contemplate, changing according to the seasons!

Land of escape above all, Naujac-sur-Mer is a small quiet and family seaside resort, adored by sportsmen and especially by surfers thanks to its famous surfing pot called "le Pin sec". Long of 5 kilometers, the beach of the Pin Sec is one of the wildest and most authentic of all the Côte d'Argent. Full of character, it has the particularity of preserving on its sand blockhouses from the Second World War, where onlookers like to sit and watch the sun set over the ocean. Here, swimming is supervised during the summer period, which makes it a must for families as well as for sportsmen who will be able to indulge in all their favorite activities along its coast. Our advice? Don't miss a little trip to the Lake of Hourtin! A paradise for water activities, you can practice canoeing, water skiing, paddle, but also kitesurfing, catamaran, sailing, wakeboarding or even boat rides. After these long sunny interludes dedicated to lazing around or swimming, you can go on excursions through the Medoc vineyards, but also opt for gourmet breaks to discover the local gastronomy! On the menu of these vacations in Gironde? Oysters of course! But also Noisettines du Médoc, entrecote à la bordelaise, gambas and shrimps of the estuary, eels and lampreys, without forgetting the wines of the Médoc or desserts like canelé, guinettes or sarments du Médoc... So many delights that will surely delight the taste buds of the whole family!
