On the border between Savoie and Haute-Savoie, near Geneva, the Aravis massif invites you to discover its majestic setting and authentic villages. Its ski area, Lake Annecy Ski Resorts, is one of the most prestigious in the Alps.

Dominated by the point Percée which culminates with more than 2700 meters, the massif of Aravis possesses an environment preserved thanks to its classification Natura 2000. Since 2011, its ski area includes the four resorts of La Clusaz, Grand-Bornand, Manigod and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, offering a vast entertainment area. With more than 160 runs, a maximum altitude difference of 1600 meters and many fun areas, it invites experienced skiers or beginners to long hours of skiing. In summer, only the peaks retain their white crown and alpine pastures and forests are a delight for hikers, mountain bikers and outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

In winter, the Aravis have an exceptional snow cover which allows the practice of all snow sports. In the middle of fir and spruce trees, the alpine ski slopes extend over almost 220 kilometres and are served by numerous high-performance ski lifts. Freeriders will enjoy the beautiful combes and countless off-piste possibilities. To prolong your moments of sensations, go to the snowparks of La Clusaz and Grand-Bornand to evolve on half-pipes, slopestyles or big air. But also take advantage of the numerous Nordic areas of the domain to practice cross-country skiing or let yourself be tempted by a snowshoe walk, dog sledding or a toboggan run.

During the summer period, enjoy the rich and green nature of the Aravis by practicing many activities. Hiking, discover the fauna and flora of the massif, reach the high lakes or climb the summits. On mountain bikes, ride down the prepared trails, practice enduro, XC, DH or All Mountain and go to the Bike Parks to work your sense of driving and balance. If you want to enjoy the mountain from the air, try paragliding, hot-air ballooning, zip lines... And, to multiply your moments of happiness, indulge in climbing, via ferrata, summer sledging, golf, archery or horseback riding.
