Between snowball fights, snow sports, panoramas on the lake of Serre-Ponçon and raclette sessions, the ski resort of Réallon is the perfect place for family stays in the mountains, winter and summer.

Nestled between Embrun and Orcières, in the department of Hautes-Alpes, Réallon takes place in the heart of the Écrins National Park. Situated on a balcony overlooking the magnificent lake of Serre-Ponçon, Réallon is the sweetness of life mixed with the dynamism of mountain activities. Here, no fuss, we love family skiing, authenticity and the mountains in their purest form. Between 1560 and 2115 metres above sea level, the Réallon ski area is a small concentration of the best that the mountain has to offer: so you will easily find something to please the whole family, whether you are looking for peace and quiet, sporting outings or contemplative walks. Dominated by the Col de la Gardette (2188 metres) and the high peaks of Chabrières (2403 metres), the Réallon ski area is the ideal place for all snow sports aficionados; to please everyone, it has a "Funland", a boardercross and a snowpark. Skiers will be delighted with 14 runs for all levels, which wind their way through valleys, passes, steep slopes and snow-covered plains. Among these runs, the black "Ariès" run and the three red runs "Ariès bas", "Scorpuis" and "Aquarius" will be perfect for experienced skiers, while novices will discover the joys of skiing on 6 blue runs and 4 green runs. In addition to a large alpine area, the Réallon resort has a vast area suitable for ski touring, as well as a large toboggan run (the "La Ripaaa" run) that is more than 4 kilometres long! If the 40-minute descent is worth it by day or night, the sensations are guaranteed! Ski joering, dog-sleigh rides and snowshoe hikes will complete your stay in the summits of the Embrunais valley.

On sunny days, when Réallon loses its thick white coat, the resort becomes a little paradise for outdoor activities. You can play tennis, mountain biking, volleyball, climbing, but also choose to hike through the valley which contains many testimonies of mountain culture (oratories, chapels, churches ...). From the Pic des Chabrières to the Pointe de la Diablée, the Pointe de Serre, the Mourre Froid, the Pic de Pied Brun or the Aiguille, you will discover all the most beautiful panoramas that Réallon has to offer.

Finally, it is impossible to stay in Réallon without taking a trip to Lake Serre-Ponçon: majestic in summer and winter, it is loved by sportsmen and women who, depending on the season, can go jet-skiing, windsurfing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, paragliding, canyoning, or even swimming, depending on what you feel like doing!

Luckily the mini-market and the tobacco press were open and the managers very friendly and welcoming. Very good hearty dishes made at "Spatule". Magnificent setting and walks. Abundant and excellent snow except on the last day because of the thaw. Very pleasant and restful stay.

Restaurant "La Spatule en Bois": very good, mountain atmosphere, very good dishes, menu adapted for my little allergic. Pizzas "Chez Rémi" made a special pizza for my allergic son. Usually, an outing to a restaurant with my son is almost impossible ... but not in Réallon :)
