The resort of Luz-Saint-Sauveur lies at the bottom of the high Pyrenees mountains, just 30 kilometres from Lourdes. Its atypical city centre is worth a look : for a country walk of 3 kilometres, stroll along the Napoleon III and Eugénie Promenade which overlooks Luz-Saint-Sauveur to discover most of the most beautiful monuments of the city, such as the Saint-André fortified church known as the Templars, the Sainte-Marie castle and its legends, the Napoléon bridge and the thermal district. Paragliding and trekking around Luz. Very beautiful region and nice shops. Resto Pic du Midi at the top ! (with reasonable prices for this site, which is to be visited absolutely).
