Between Briançon and Grenoble, at the gateway to the Parc National des Écrins, Auris-en-Oisans is a family-friendly and welcoming ski resort. Connected to the Alpe d'Huez domain, it offers outdoor sports enthusiasts a wide range of activities throughout the year.

A village resort perched at an altitude of 1600 metres between mountain pastures and forests, Auris-en-Oisans is 16 kilometres from Alpe d'Huez. With its incomparable views of the snow-covered Meije, the Romansh Valley and the highest peaks of the Parc National des Écrins, the resort will win over adventurers in both winter and summer. In winter, you can enjoy 23 trails spread over 45 kilometres, linked to the large Alpe d'Huez ski area, which has more than 250 kilometres of trails for both novice and experienced skiers. In detail, Auris-en-Oisans has 5 green, 7 blue, 8 red and 3 black slopes for experienced skiers, ranging from 1450 to 2176 metres above sea level. The latter will appreciate the beautiful slopes traced on the slopes of the Signal de l'Homme sector (such as the red Fontfroide slope), when children and Sunday skiers will enjoy themselves on the Espace Débutant, the Espace Première Glisse, the playful "Jacques le Bûcheron" course as well as on the green piste des Bauchets, animated and lit in the evening. In addition, Auris-en-Oisans offers the most adventurous people beautiful descents, notably via the mythical Sarenne run of 16 kilometres, as well as beautiful high mountain outings on its perched runs at an altitude of more than 3300 metres.

As for Nordic activities, head for the resort's plateau, directly facing Alpe d'Huez: you will find an 8-kilometre cross-country ski run called the "Boucle de la Rochette", as well as some 30 kilometres of footpaths for pedestrians and snowshoes.

In addition to traditional skiing, the resort offers a wide range of activities during the winter: sleigh rides, electric mountain biking, off-piste skiing (20 routes), snowboarding... When summer finally comes and the resort gets rid of its thick snow coat, it becomes a little green Eden very popular with fans of outdoor activities. Mountain biking is one of the most popular sports, thanks to the resort's link with Alpe d'Huez: between 720 and 3300 metres above sea level, you will find 35 signposted routes including 14 downhill runs, 10 enduro tours and 12 X-Country tours. In addition to mountain biking, you can opt for hikes, archery lessons, mini-golf games and even donkey rides. But Oisans is above all known to cyclists as one of the essential sites of the Tour de France. The mythical climb of Alpe d'Huez and its 21 bends, the Col du Lautaret, the Col du Galibier or the Col de Sarenne are musts for all pedal lovers! If you prefer water sports to land-based activities, then you are also in the right place since the resort organizes whitewater outings throughout the summer for thrill-seekers. Rafting on the Vénéon, kayaking, hydrospeed, hot-dog, air boat, via-ferrata... The perfect combo to enjoy the multiple assets of the mountain as it should be.
