In the heart of the Oisan, in a dream setting at the entrance to the Écrins National Park, Bourg-d'Oisans has everything, absolutely everything to please nature lovers. A haven of peace surrounded by legendary mountain passes such as the mythical Alpe d'Huez ascent, this paradise for sports enthusiasts of all kinds is ideally situated, at the crossroads of the 6 valleys of the Oisans, to allow you to practice a whole host of activities, winter and summer alike. Whether it is on the village side, or on the mountain side on the slopes of the Pelvoux or Grandes Rousses massifs, here, nature is king and the possibilities are numerous! If you had to choose only one sport, it would certainly be hiking. The best way to discover the Bourg-d'Oisans, whatever your level of walking, whether you are a beginner or an experienced trekker, hiking will allow you to discover the most beautiful reliefs of the village. Renowned for its panoramic views and its magnificent mirror on the Ecrins, this lake perched at an altitude of 1530 metres is the largest in the massif.
