Along the Adour river, Angoumé is one of those little corners of paradise where we like to relax. A real Eden of tranquility, far from the usual tourist routes, it is the perfect place to put your bags for a vacation combining culture, nature and seaside breaks.

Angoumé is located in the Landes department, in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. In the district of Dax, a few steps from this renowned spa, Angoumé is located in southern Gascony, in the heart of small hills in the Landes forest. Partly covered with pines and oaks that run down to the Adour, this quiet village is worth a visit for its pleasant setting, particularly suitable for a quiet vacation. But it is also an ideal place to start (re)hiking! Thanks to a lot of walking itineraries, you will be able to discover the preserved beauty of the Landes landscape, but also the Adour Valley or the Château d'Angoumé.

Take advantage of your stay in Angoumé to discover some of the Landes' star destinations, such as Dax. With its 12 thermal baths, Dax is the first thermal city in France in terms of attendance, thanks to the benefits of its waters recognized since Antiquity. For a gourmet or cultural visit, but above all for a wellness and fitness break, Dax is a must for your stay! Its Hot Fountain where water gushes out at 64°C, its Gallo-Roman ramparts, its Notre-Dame cathedral, but also its Borda museum or its gardens and its Art Deco facades will complete your visit. The pond of Soustons is also a must to discover: with its Dinosaurs Park, this lake lodged in a case of greenery to about twenty kilometers of Angoumé is an immense open-air playground for the amateurs of outdoor activities.
