In the heart of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, just below Granville, Saint-Pair-sur-Mer is the perfect place for family holidays on the Normandy coast.

4 kilometres south of Granville, facing the Chausey Islands, Saint-Pair-sur-Mer enjoys a particularly privileged location close to both the Channel Islands and Mont-Saint-Michel. Calm and conducive to rest, this charming seaside resort whose history is intimately linked to that of water conquers the hearts of many visitors passing through its walls. To begin with, we can only recommend that you visit its port: splendid, especially at sunset when it is tinged with warm colours, it is one of the most dynamic ports in the sector, and one of the most recognised shellfish ports in the hexagon. Throughout the day, as the tides go out, sailors are busy and onlookers pass by, sometimes admiring the moored boats or the sparkling sea. Whether or not you are a lover of sea outings, we can only advise you to opt for a small excursion aboard a boat to discover all the beauty of the Saint-Pair-sur-Mer coastline. In addition, the port is the starting point for many excursions to Jersey, Chausey, Sark, Sainte-Anne or Guernsey, as many unforgettable visits that will complete your stay.

Also take the time to walk along the seafront of the town: the compass rose on the Saint-Pair dike, as well as its half-moon orientation table will help you find your way around easily, while identifying the different islands off the coast. You can also admire the villas that dot the seaside and the interior of the village: each one more atypical than the other, they are emblematic of the local landscape. But Saint-Pair-sur-Mer isn't just about its port, far from it: on foot, by bike or on horseback, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of its green surroundings, thanks to a large number of marked trails.

The main asset of Saint-Pair-sur-Mer? Its beaches. 4 kilometres of beaches offering breathtaking views of the Channel Islands, but also of the Pointe du Grouin, Chausey or Cancale. Kairon beach is very popular in good weather: with its slipway and channel, it is very popular with water sports enthusiasts who come here for surfing, sailing, boating and kitesurfing. In its extension, the Thar beach also attracts sportsmen and women: water-skiing, windsurfing, paddle or jet-ski fans meet there from the first rays of sunshine to try to tame the waves of the English Channel. The beach of Saint-Pair and the beach of Grace of God will be perfect for bubbling in the sun, playing beach volleyball, swimming and enjoying the calm of the seaside to read a good book.

The bar-tapas "La Maison" in St Pair is of very good quality. The creperie "La Gourmandise" in the old Granville is very good and very welcoming.
