On the South Caribbean coast of Martinique, Le Marin could be summed up as follows: blue sky, turquoise water, coconut palms and white sand. Between Sainte-Luce and Sainte-Anne, in a dream setting (let's not be afraid to say it!), Le Marin stands sheltered from the swell and the wind, nestled in the hollow of its narrow bay. Classified as a nautical resort, it attracts many visitors every year thanks to its large marina, classified as the Blue Flag and recognised as the largest in the whole of the South Caribbean with its 750 berths and 100 mooring buoys.

Before rushing to its dream beaches, the village of Le Martin is well worth a visit: with its 17th century Saint-Étienne church (one of the oldest in Martinique), renowned for its marble high altar and ashlar facade, as well as its "southern botanical nursery" and its market covered in colourful spices, fruit and seasonal vegetables, this typical Martinican village will take you right into the heart of local traditions. For an exceptional panorama of the city, we recommend that you climb to the Morne Gommier viewpoint: from its heights, a 36° view awaits you over Le Marin as well as a large part of the Atlantic Coast, from Pointe des Salines to Rocher du Diamant via the Crève-Cœur volcano.

The marina along its beaches is the perfect place for a little shopping or lunch with your feet in the water. It is also the ideal place for a short walk, before or after swimming. On the beach of Cap Mancré, the beach of Anse Baleine, Anse Grosse Roche, the beach of Grand Macabou or Pointe Borgnèse, you can enjoy magnificent panoramas, fine sand and transparent water to be damned, in which families and friends bathe in peace. Are you more into sports activities than idleness? Then you've come to the right place. Paragliding for thrill-seekers, windsurfing, sea fishing, kayaking, boat or catamaran trips to Saint Lucia, water skiing, surfing, bodyboarding, paddle, but also (and above all!) scuba diving to discover the magnificent seabed of the seaside resort...
