Jewel of Martinique, Sainte-Anne is one of its must-see destinations. Adored by visitors, this little corner of paradise takes place in the very south of Martinique. Sainte-Anne has long been known for its sugar cane cultivation, but nowadays it lives off tourism, as the many restaurants and other shops that have flourished in the town in recent years testify. Rich in a very beautiful heritage, Sainte-Anne is well worth a visit, before you head off to bask on its warm sand. But what to see? The Ruins of Crève-Cœur are certainly the emblem of the town, and of the sugar industry that it once was. With its workers' village, its industrial buildings and its beautiful 18th century mansion, it is a must see during your stay in Sainte-Anne. The Piton de Crève-Cœur is also a well-known hiking site on the island, offering from its 200-metre altitude a breathtaking panorama of the entire southern part of the peninsula, from Diamant to Sainte-Luce via Rivière-Pilote and Marin. The Lighthouse of Îlet Cabrit is worth a visit from the beach at Les Salines, as is the Notre-Dame-de-Sainte-Anne church (18th century) and the Val d'Or Mill (17th century).

Hikers ? The Petrified Savannah is a must see! A veritable little desert in the heart of the island, it offers its visitors the splendour of tropical landscapes studded with the remains of trees that have been petrified for decades. Don't miss the Pointe d'Enfer, Anse Caritan, Anse Trabaud, Pointe Baham, or even Cap Ferré to discover its Blue Eye viewpoint, revealing an incomparable panorama of the black rocks that line the coast and the blue sea. Marked itineraries, mountain bike trails and other walking routes for all levels will allow the whole family to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of the Ile aux Fleurs.

Finally, how can we talk about Sainte-Anne without mentioning its beaches? From the wild Caritan cove to Trabaud cove, via the highly prized Grande Anse des Salines, the Petite Anse des Salines, or the Anse à Prunes renowned for its waves, you can enjoy heavenly beaches, where white sand, coconut palms and turquoise water intermingle to create a landscape worthy of the most beautiful postcards.
