Located on the Vanoise massif, Arc 2000 is chronologically the third village of the Arcs site, built in 1979, about ten years after the creation of the first village, which makes it particularly popular with winter sports enthusiasts, and its slopes are famous : they hosted a speed skating event at the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games.

The Domaine des Arcs contains a hundred pistes of all levels spread over 200 kilometers and four resort-villages. It is linked to two other major estates, Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne, thanks to the "Vanoise Express" cable car (double and 2x1 lanes). All three sites account for 425 kilometers of runways and is known as Paradiski. You can also find several snowparks and other structures where you can learn about the sports of skiing. In addition to the classic descents, the cross-country skiing route of Arc 2000 allows a practice of this sport all smooth.

During the summer, the resort remains one of the favorite destinations of sportsmen ! It is well known, the mountain has many assets conducive to the practice of sport in the wilderness. Starting with mountain biking : a bikepark runs through the entire Arcs site and includes a large number of itineraries labeled by the French Cycling Federation. There is also a freestyle zone for the regulars of the discipline and five practice parks for the less experienced. The wide choice of trails gives cyclists of all levels the opportunity to enjoy the domain and its wild nature. The Trank's is the ideal trail for beginners, it allows to familiarize oneself with the practice of the mountain bike in full nature. The regulars will prefer the Legend. Very popular with pedestrians and cyclists, it remains fairly affordable but nevertheless requires a good command of mountain biking. Finally, the confirmed cyclists come regularly to rub against "La Cachette", official race track. More complex, its sharp turns and its springboards provide incredible sensations to those who try.

Les Arcs is also 700 kilometers of marked trails that take you to the depths of nature. Located at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, Arc 2000 is the ideal starting point for mountain walks, alone or with an experienced guide. Savoyard nature will have no secrets for you !
