Near the Parc de La Vanoise, in Savoie, La Norma displays its cosy charm in a breathtaking environment. In all seasons, you will appreciate its pedestrian village heart, its conviviality and the incredible purity of its air.
In the heart of the French Alps, La Norma is an ideal resort for winter sports. With its 27 slopes, 13 lifts, accommodation at the foot of the lifts and guaranteed snow cover, it offers ideal conditions to slide for long hours. The free-ride area, the slalom stadium and the snowpark are ideal for thrill-seekers, while nature lovers can enjoy the beauty of the landscape on the Nordic walking and snowshoeing trails. A family resort par excellence, La Norma has a nursery that welcomes the youngest from 3 months and a children's club that offers varied activities up to 12 years.
During the summer, La Norma reveals all the splendour of its green valley and invites you to enjoy, in many ways, this fabulous mountain setting. You can take the many footpaths that will take you to the Pointe de La Norma (2918 meters), to the Saint-Benoît waterfall or to discover the monumental sculptures in Savoy marble that decorate the village. Mountain bike enthusiasts will be able to set off on the 49 kilometres of marked itineraries and cyclists will be able to challenge the mythical passes of the Tour de France such as the Galibier or Mont-Cenis. But you can also try many other sports : climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, paragliding... or spend long moments of relaxation in the water sports base.
Also take advantage of your stay at La Norma to discover some of the highlights of the area. Rendez-vous in the charming villages of Villarodin (baroque church), Le Bourget (rock climbing lovers) and Avrieux. Near the latter, visit the citadels of the Barrière de l'Esseillon : Fort Victor-Emmanuel, the Marie-Thérèse redoubt... Also make a little getaway to Modane to appreciate its famous granite fountain, dating from 1572 and listed as a historic monument, its leaning house and the fort of Replaton. Back in La Norma, settle into a pleasant restaurant in the resort and taste some Savoyard specialities : fondue, tartiflette, diots, cheeses...

La Norma is a family resort where everything can be done on foot. Good tips: shop and ski rental at Skiset (top service and advisers, quality equipment); always well received at the press and the U grocery store in the resort. "Le Tao" for the welcome and the small drinks after skiing/luge, "Le Télémark" for the chocolate pancakes.

"L'Antirouille" and "Le Cairn" (at the bottom of the slopes) at the top for a coffee, or lunch on the terrace. At the end of the day, meet at "La Bodega" for a drink while enjoying billiards, table football or pinball.
