Comfortably installed at 1500 meters altitude in the heart of Savoie, Lanslevillard is a commune and village resort of Haute Maurienne. Located on the Via Francigena, an ancient route used for Franco-Italian trade, it has inherited a great remarkable cultural heritage. This peaceful village is also a delight for sportsmen, who will find many physical activities specific to the mountains.
Because Lanslevillard is above all skiing, skiing and more skiing ! The resort belongs to the Val Cenis domain, the most important in the Haute Maurienne valley. This modern estate has managed to preserve its authenticity thanks to the attachment of the inhabitants to traditions. Want to unlock the secrets of the valley? Les Chemins de l'Histoire takes you back in time and allows you to discover the entire history of Lanslevillard through its religious heritage. This autonomous cultural tour tours the twelve chapels of the village. The first compulsory stage is the Saint-Roch chapel. It is here that the hostess will give you the keys to access each of the other chapels. In each of them, you will find museum explanations in addition to a grandiose artistic and religious heritage. The dream for history lovers !
In the evening, get together with friends or family at Bowling 1480, the ideal place to relax after a long day of sports or walking. A good game of bowling or a small tour in the games room, nothing better to end the day well. The catering area also allows you to taste simple and homemade dishes. Burgers, salads, pasta... But always prepared with local products and local flavors !
