Situated at 2127 meters above sea level in the heart of the Haute Tarentaise region, the Savoyard resort of Tignes Val Claret is known for its festive and warm ambiance. Developed in 1965, it is one of the most animated districts of the domain of Tignes. Party and relaxation rhythm the resort and make it the ideal place for a stay with friends.
The ski area of Tignes is very popular with skiers, and for good reason ! 80 tracks on an area of 150 kilometers, it is a true paradise for the lovers of the glide. It is also part of Tignes-Val d'Isère, which connects Tignes to Val d'Isère, the neighboring resort. This large estate has 300 kilometers of slopes and two snowparks. We do not see the end ! Tignes is also the landmark of new sports : speedriding, snowkite, snakeglisse... The resort gives you the opportunity to try all the new !
In Tignes Val Claret, the nightlife promises you many adventures ! Summer and winter, it is here that the revelers come from all the resorts of Tignes to spend a good evening. Also know that the office allows you to discover many other mountain sports such as canyoning, hiking or off-piste skiing, to name but a few.
At 2100 meters above sea level, Tignes Val Claret has a very original golf course : it is one of the highest in Europe ! Its 18-hole course is punctuated by nature-created obstacles such as lakes and streams. Its location in the resort allows players to enjoy a remarkable view of the glacier and the surrounding peaks. The youngest and the least experienced can still try mini-golf for a friendly moment in the middle of nature.
If you are staying in Val Claret, you will not be able to miss the multitude of restaurants ready to let you discover the gastronomy of Savoie and elsewhere ! The must-see of the resort is Le Couloir. On the ground floor you will find a British pub with a festive atmosphere. Upstairs, change of scenery : you are welcomed in a restaurant with refined and tasty cuisine, where the dishes are as much pleasure to the eyes as to the papillae.
