Explore Les Issambres
In the heart of the Côte d'Azur, between Sainte-Maxime and Saint-Raphaël, Les Issambres offers you a real little corner of paradise. Between beaches, wild coves, creeks, pines and palm trees, you can relax and have fun in an exceptional setting.
The maritime district of Roquebrune-sur-Argens, Les Issambres has a coastline of almost 8 kilometres and invites you to discover many idyllic places. You can thus settle down on a beautiful beach of fine sand, enjoy the calm of a small secret cove or appreciate the enchanting setting of the calanques. On the program : idleness and swimming of course, but also sailing, water skiing, wakeboarding, parachute climbing, kayaking, paddle, diving... And if you dream of the great outdoors, offer yourself an excursion to the islands of Port-Cros and Porquerolles, for a day that will remain etched in your memory for a long time.
After its marine pleasures, set off to discover the Issambres resort and the village of Roquebrune-sur-Argens. With its millennial history, this beautiful Provençal city has many surprises in store for you. As you walk along its winding streets, you can admire the church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, built in the 11th century and listed as a historical monument. But also appreciate the Portalet, the main gate of the enclosure, the Clock Tower which has rocked the life of the inhabitants since 1561, the Castrum, former residence of the lords of Roquebrune, and the Anfred Tower, one of the last remains of the ramparts . Then visit the Heritage House which traces the history of the town from prehistoric times and the House of Chocolate and Cocoa, installed in the chapel of an old hospice.
With its enchanting and preserved natural environment, between Maures and Estérel, Les Issambres also invites you to unforgettable walks. Discover the coastline by taking the Chemin des Douaniers. It will allow you to enjoy the Vivier maritime de la Gaillarde, from Gallo-Roman times, and reach the Col du Bougnon where you will have a splendid view over the Mediterranean coast and the bay of Saint-Tropez. But also walk the paths that will lead you to Roquebrune Rock or to the Blavet Gorge. After a busy day, sit on the terrace of a restaurant and enjoy the mild climate while tasting Provencal specialties : ratatouille, stuffed, pistou, goat cheese, honey...

The beaches of La Gaillarde and Peiras are at the top! Night markets on Thursdays and Sundays, very nice! (as well as those of Monday morning, a treat for the eyes and the papillae!). Stroll in the creeks with the green boats: exquisite! Welcoming "Boréa Beach" restaurant.
