The town of Nans-les-Pins is located at an altitude of 430 metres, in an absolutely marvellous natural setting. Renowned tourist resort, nestled in the valleys of the Provence Verte, it tirelessly invites its visitors to magnificent discoveries. To grasp its beauty, take the time to visit its old village, full of listed monuments. The oratory of Miette (1516) on the Chemin des Roys is worth seeing for the splendour of its original architecture, as is the Chapel of the White Penitents (also called Notre-Dame-de-la-Miséricorde), just above the village, which will allow you to observe beautiful panoramas overlooking the valleys that adorn Nans-les-Pins. The 2nd century Ligurian oppidum will also offer you incredible views of the rock of Sainte-Croix, which we recommend you discover at sunset. The ruins of the old Nans from the 14th century, as well as those of a medieval castrum from the 13th century also add to the visit of this pretty quiet corner.

On the nature side, it is impossible to miss the splendid Castelette caves and the Huveaune springs (visitable under authorization). The commune is also crossed by many walking and mountain bike routes, but also by the famous GR9 which will allow you to reach Saint-Amour (in the Jura), or the seaside resort of Saint-Tropez (about 100 km away). But above all, this long-distance hiking trail will allow you to discover all the striking beauty of the Sainte-Baume massif, renowned for its magnificent panoramas in all seasons. You will also be able to visit Toulon, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, and a whole host of small flowered villages, each one more attractive than the next.

Finally, after hiking, strolling, golfing or playing tennis, what would you say to a swim? La Ciotat and the Parc National des Calanques are located just 40 kilometres from Nans-les-Pins, so in just a few minutes you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. La Ciotat has more than 7 kilometres of beaches perfect for both sunbathing and swimming. Between creeks, rocky inlets and sandy beaches, you will be spoilt for choice. In terms of water activities, kayaking, canoeing, surfing, boat hire, jet-skiing, scuba diving in the creeks, paddle, fishing, kitesurfing or water-skiing will complete your stay in Provence.
