But also enjoy the many parks of the city and the lagoon that hosts a multitude of flamingos. Then go on the north-west coast to visit the pretty towns of Alghero (fortifications, old town, palace) and Bosa (San Pietro church, Malaspina castle).

Omnipresent, the Sardinian nature does not reveal its beauties that by the seaside. Of course, the national park of the island of the Asinara, near Stintino, is part of the essential ones but also go to the discovery of the back -country and its mountainous massifs like the Gennargentu (hiking trails, ski resorts).
