While walking along its streets, admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its majestic Duomo, the Basilicas of Santa Maria Novella and San Lorenzo and the Ponte Vecchio. Then visit the prodigious museums of the city : the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello, the Academy Gallery, the Palazzo Vecchio which contain the masterpieces of the greatest names of the Renaissance : Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio... To the south of Florence, another legendary region is one of the province's highlights : Chianti. In Greve in Chianti, one of the most beautiful villages in this rural territory, enjoy the triangular market square, the church of Santa Croce and, if you are visiting in September, attend the largest wine event dedicated to Chianti Classico.
