In the heart of the eponymous province, Florence is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Cradle of the Italian Renaissance, the city of the Medici dazzles by the richness of its heritage. While walking along its streets, admire the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its majestic Duomo, the Basilicas of Santa Maria Novella and San Lorenzo and the Ponte Vecchio. Then visit the prodigious museums of the city : the Uffizi Gallery, the Bargello, the Academy Gallery, the Palazzo Vecchio which contain the masterpieces of the greatest names of the Renaissance : Giotto, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio... To the south of Florence, another legendary region is one of the province's highlights : Chianti.
