As far as nature is concerned, the caves of Castellana are among the unmissable in Puglia and are one of the most important tourist attractions in the region. Three kilometres long and over 70 metres deep, they are the largest in Italy. If the place is ideal for hiking, speleology is also very popular with visitors. For moments of idleness under the legendary Italian sun, head for the "Alimini Beach" adored for its warm waters, "Porto Badisco" and its magnificent cove, "Torre Dell Orso" or "Punta della Suina".
