Then go on the north-west coast to visit the pretty towns of Alghero (fortifications, old town, palace) and Bosa (San Pietro church, Malaspina castle).

Of course, the national park of the island of the Asinara, near Stintino, is part of the essential ones but also go to the discovery of the back -country and its mountainous massifs like the Gennargentu (hiking trails, ski resorts). Also visit the beautiful area of Sulcis Iglesiente for its wild landscapes and archaeological sites and visit the village of Barumini and its Su Nuraxi, megalithic building classified as a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
