Looking for sun, dream beaches and a change of scenery? Heading for Spain, and more particularly for the seaside resort of Orihuela Costa.

A coastal town in the municipality of Orihuela, Orihuela Costa is located on the very sunny Costa Blanca (300 days of sunshine per year), in the south-east of Spain. Renowned for its magnificent beaches, golf courses and cultural treasures, it has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. Its beaches are its most beautiful treasure: spread over 17 kilometres along a marvellous turquoise water, they take place in the heart of a coast dotted with cliffs, harbours and small islets that tirelessly invite you to calm and escape. Crique Bosque is one of the most popular: over 350 metres long, this beach, awarded the Blue Flag, is ideal for sports activities such as scuba diving, jet-skiing, sailing, snorkelling and water skiing. Beach volleyball courts, parasols and deckchairs complete the range of services on this popular beach. The beaches of Cabo Roig and its fine sand, the rather intimate Cala Capitan, the Estaca Creek, the Mosca cove renowned for its turquoise water, the beaches of Aguamarina, La Gleo, Mil Palmeras and Barranco Rubio are among the most popular beaches on the Orihuela Costa coast.

Orihuela Costa is sunshine, beaches and... golf courses! The perfect combination for an elegant and relaxing holiday. Real Club de Golf Campoamor, la Masquera Golf, Las Ramblas, la Finca Golf, Las Colinas or le Vistabella Golf all have very beautiful 18-hole courses, most of them facing the sea and in the heart of a splendid green environment. Whether you are new to the subject or never travel without your favourite woods and irons, you will inevitably find your happiness there.

As for culture, Orihuela Costa has many historical sites to see: the Cabo Roig Tower in particular, very close to the beach of the same name, is really worth a visit. This 16th century military tower offers from its heights an impressive view of the entire coast: not to be missed at sunset if you like photography! As you stroll through the city, you will not be able to miss its museums, palaces and many churches. The Miguelico itinerary ("Poet's Trail") is particularly recommended, as is the "Monumental" itinerary, which will allow you to discover the Gate of Crevillente, the Holy Week Museum, the Castle of the Glorious Ruins, the Episcopal Palace or the Cathedral of San Salvador. The Circus Theatre, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Monserrate, the remains of Los Saladares, as well as the Palace of Ruvalcaba, are also worth a visit. Finally, if you like hiking, you should know that the seaside resort offers many paths for walkers: coastal paths, loops in the mountains of the Sierra de Hurchillo with panoramas on the Vega Baja, walking paths through La Palmeraie at the foot of Mount San Miguel... You will have only the embarrassment of choice!

5 minutes from the Zénia shopping centre and the motorway, which makes it easy to get around the region (Murcia, Elche and Alicante...). 10 minutes by car from the beach of La Zénia and otherwise the other beaches of the "Oriheula Costa" are easily accessible (and beautiful).
