Sagrada Família (a most unusual monument...), the National Art Museum of Catalonia, the Güell Park, the Picasso Museum. But do not forget to take a stroll along the Rambla, along the seafront (ideally by bicycle or scooter) and in the gardens of Montjuïc. Many other cities deserve a getaway like Terrassa (Visigothic-Romanesque churches, castle of Vallparadis...), Mataro (Basilica, Casa Coli i Regàs...), Vic (cathedral, episcopal palace)...
