Explore Vidreres
Between land and sea, the authentic village of Vidredes is the ideal place to discover the Spanish coast. In the heart of the province of Girona, Vidredes is only 12 kilometres from the sublime beaches of Lloret de Mar and enjoys a magnificent natural setting that will please holidaymakers looking for fresh air.
Far from the hustle and bustle of the coast, Vidredes is a typical Catalan hinterland town, for which you will easily fall in love. A green oasis, the commune is surrounded by the sublime landscapes of the Gavarres Natural Park, the green lung of the Costa Brava, as well as the Montseny massif. If the place lends itself ideally to rest, it is also the place of predilection of the amateurs of excursions with bicycle. Indeed, the city and its surroundings are criss-crossed by many cycle routes that will allow you to do many hikes, with family or friends. Also on foot, the surroundings of Vidredes are worth seeing. Nature lovers, do not hesitate to visit the Aiguamolls Nature Reserve (1h20 away), known for its rich fauna and flora, but also the sumptuous Cap de la Creus (1h40 away) : overlooking breathtakingly beautiful coves, this small, irregular and surprising natural paradise will amaze young and old.

In couple, we advise you to savour long afternoons of idleness in the heart of Cala Banys, in Lloret de Mar : paradise, this cove is to see absolutely. A beach volleyball court, a nautical centre and the port will allow you to practice a multitude of activities. The beach of Fenals is undeniably family and sporting: in the middle of a bay of immeasurable beauty, it is the second largest beach of Lloret de Mar. If it is ideal for swimming, it is also ideal for a myriad of activities : pedal-boating, jet-skiing, kayaking, parachuting, water-skiing or boat rental, you will be spoilt for choice !
Finally, with the cities of Girona and Barcelona 25 and 45 minutes away, you will have the opportunity to make many visits : take the opportunity to discover the local culture, history and gastronomy. Halfway between land and sea, Catalan cuisine is rich in flavours : in large tourist towns such as Vidredes, village festivals and local markets will be an opportunity for you to taste local dishes.
