Santa Eularia des Riu is the third largest city on the island of Ibiza in Spain. Every year, Santa Eularia des Riu attracts more and more visitors, curious to taste its gentle way of life, to discover the splendour of its coastline and to enjoy its shops.

Far from the characteristic destinations of Ibiza where partying and decadence are legion, Santa Eularia des Riu is a rather quiet seaside resort, perfect for family holidays. To begin your visit, head towards the urban centre of the resort: the largest tourist centre on the island after Ibiza and San Antonio of course, it has superb monuments such as its 16th century church. Perched at the top of the Puig de Missa, this splendid fortified church, recognisable by its spherical vault and its 4 small chapels, all dressed in white, is worth a visit both for its beauty and for the breathtaking views it affords over the whole of Santa Eularia des Riu, its port and the open sea.

To take its pulse, nothing better than a short walk along the promenade that runs along its large beach. With its palm trees, gardens and large fountain, it is the perfect place to stroll around with an ice cream in your hand, for an early morning jog or a late afternoon outing to watch the sun set over the sea. It is also the ideal place to shop, have lunch with a view or enjoy a coffee on the terrace while taking advantage of the good weather (even in February!). Finally, extend your short walk to the end of the promenade to discover the magnificent Marina beach, where you can admire the only river in the Balearic Islands flowing into the sea.

Because here is the major asset of this sunny destination: the sea. Santa Eularia des Riu, a coastal town, has a wide range of beaches and other heavenly coves, each one more amazing than the next. The largest is therefore the one located in the city centre along the Marina: 300 metres long, this beach accessible to disabled people is ideal for families with children. Particularly well-equipped, it is also appreciated by sportsmen and women who come here at leisure to surf, water-ski or scuba-dive, an activity that is very popular in the resort thanks to its particularly crystal-clear waters. The Playa del Rio, the Cala Pasa, the Playa de s'Argamassa, the Calo de s'Alga and the Es Niu Blue will complete your discovery of the most beautiful beaches of Santa Eularia des Riu which, for many, are also considered to be the most beautiful beaches of the whole island of Ibiza.
