In the north of the bay of Ibiza, in Spain, the small village of Nuestra Senora de Jesus belongs to the suburbs of the tourist city of Ibiza. Often referred to as "Jesus", this very lively town has a plethora of shops, cafés, restaurants and bars, perfect to take the pulse of this city always in motion. To start your immersion in the island, there is nothing better than a good little meal 100% in local colours. Tapas plates, dishes made from seafood, fish (such as peix bullit, rajada burrida or pella) or meat (such as sofrit pagès or sobrassada), but also greixonera (pudding) and flao (cheese pie) will be on the menu of all the best restaurants in Nuestra Senora de Jesus. After a good meal, take a walk through the heart of the village; with its white-painted houses and imposing church, it is a perfect postcard of the island's typical villages.

On foot or by bike, walk to the beach of S'Estanyol: rather isolated, just 5 minutes from the town, this beach off the busiest tourist trails will dazzle you with its beauty: often not often visited by holidaymakers, this shaded cove surrounded by rocks consists of fine sand, a small wooden footbridge and crystal clear water that is absolutely paradisiac. More touristic, the beach of Talamanca, in the bay of the same name, offers its visitors 800 meters of fine sand where they can sunbathe in peace. Well equipped, it attracts families for its many facilities but also sportsmen and women who can enjoy a wide range of water sports, from surfing to stand up paddle, sailing, towed buoys and kitesurfing (in winter, its practice is prohibited in summer). A must to do not far from Nuestra Senora de Jesus? Go to the Mirador du Cap Martinet: from there, at the very top of the cliffs, an unforgettable view of the turquoise sea awaits you. If the place lends itself magnificently to hiking or contemplating the sunset, it is also ideal for swimming in peace from its tiny creek, accessible only by boat.
