In the south of the island of Gran Canaria, Playa del Aguila does not quite correspond to the idea of a Canary Islands seaside resort: here, we are far from crowded resorts where it is difficult to find a way to reach the sea. Playa del Aguila is a small town bordered by a wide beach of pebbles and pebbles, absolutely magnificent, quiet and isolated from the hustle and bustle of the seaside. Perfect for resourcing, exotic and relaxing stays under its high palm trees and lighthouse, Playa del Aguila will also be suitable for holidaymakers who have the hustle and bustle as well as for the most sporty. The "Eagle Beach" is well known by its name: known for its winds favourable to sliding sports, Playa del Aguila is a surf spot appreciated by water sports aficionados. Here, kitesurfing, sailing, paddle, flyboard, jet ski, bodyboard, sea kayaking, water skiing and wakesurfing are the most popular activities.

For more entertainment, you will have to go to Maspalomas, the neighbouring seaside resort. On foot, by bike or by car, it will be easy to reach some of its most beautiful beaches in no time. Famous for its wide dunes, its cultural and natural heritage, Maspalomas is bordered by a long beach of more than 17 kilometres. A paradise for lovers of fine sand, the latter is divided into several sectors, sometimes nudist, sometimes reserved for families. You will find many parasol and hammock rental companies, chiringuitos where you can have a drink and enjoy a few tapas facing the sea, or even areas totally dedicated to water sports such as surfing, sailing, kitesurfing or paddle. After sunbathing in the sun all day, you can visit one of its many bars and restaurants before deciding whether or not to go to a nightclub, to extend the party until the early morning.

Finally, Playa del Inglés is also worth a look, as is Bahia Feliz resort, Palmitos Park, Aqualand water park and Maspalomas golf course.
