To the north, the Serra de la Tramuntana Natural Park, but also the Cala Mondrago Natural Park further south are worth a visit if you like the small edens of tranquility. Spread over more than 785 hectares, the Cala Mondrago Natural Park has many hiking trails: the S'Amarador trail and its views of its wetland, but also the "Punta de ses Gatoves" trail, the "Sa Guardia d'en Garrot" trail and the belvedere trail from "Ses Fonts de n'Alis" to the park's calanques are particularly recommended.

But if you come to Cala Murada, it is above all for its beach. Its bay, made of fine sand, is ideal for families who like to swim and relax. In the heart of the rocky panoramas of this Mallorcan coast, this quiet Eden surrounded by palm trees invites you to rest tirelessly in the shade of its many straw umbrellas. While its azure water is perfect for a few refreshing swims, it is also suitable for underwater exploration, equipped with masks and snorkels. Lovers of water sports? Feel free to take your visit a little further, towards Porto Colom. Located only a few minutes from Cala Murada, this historic seaside resort, named after Christopher Columbus, is really worth a visit. In addition to being the ideal place for romantic walks in the calm of its port, Porto Colom is much appreciated for its wide mosaic of sliding sports. On the agenda? Water skiing, kitesurfing, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, jet-skiing, boat rides, paddle and surfing will satisfy the most sporty holidaymakers.

While in Cala Murada, it is impossible to escape the delights of Mallorcan cuisine. On the sweet side, ensaimada is one of the island's must-sees! Gourmet and sweet as can be, it is Mallorca's most popular pastry with'robiols' and'tortada de merengue'. On the salty side, "sobrassada" is one of the jewels in the crown of local cuisine: this sausage, which is close to chorizo, can be enjoyed with bread and honey, or in tapas for a quick meal. The "coca de patata", "llonguet", "oliagua" (a soup made with garlic, pepper and tomato), paella, "tumbet" (a kind of ratatouille of peppers), "empanadas", "formatjades" (slippers filled with fish or meat) and tapas will also be on display in most Cala Murada restaurants, to make your taste buds travel.
