In the very south of Spain, some fifty kilometres from Malaga, Torrox Costa is located in the heart of the coastline of the Axarquia region. With the title of "the city with the best climate in Europe" thanks to its mild winter and summer temperatures, this city with its perpetual spring air is certainly one of the most beautiful destinations on the Costa del Sol. What do you like about Torrox Costa? His calm! A peaceful seaside resort, it has a 9-kilometre long coastline, divided into 7 beaches, each one more beautiful than the next. But before venturing out to its beaches, take the time to visit the historic centre of Torrox Costa. Our advice? Stroll along its streets to capture all the charm and splendour! The Torrox lighthouse is obviously worth seeing. Built in 1864, it is one of the only lighthouses in the province of Málaga that is open to the public. If it is worth a visit for its exhibitions on the history of the resort, it is even more worth a detour for the unforgettable views it offers its lucky visitors over the entire Torrox Costa coastline. At the bend in an alley, it is impossible to miss the buildings that were once part of the city's defensive system, El Torreon and El Porton. The Iglesia de Nuestra Senora de la Encarnacion, built in the 16th century on the ruins of a mosque, as well as the hermitage and convent of Nuestra Senora de las Nieves, the neo-Mudejar church of San Roque and the sublime Casa de la Hoya are among the most outstanding monuments of Torrox Costa's architectural heritage. The Granja Aqueduct, the magnificent façade of the San José Hospital and the splendid Plaza de la Constitucion with its rows of colourful umbrellas are also to be added to your list of visits, so that you don't miss anything of this city of a thousand and one facets.

Well sheltered from the wind thanks to the mountains that surround the municipality, the beaches of Torrox Costa are certainly its most beautiful asset. Renowned for the purity of its water, the seaside resort never ceases to captivate the hearts of its visitors. Stroll with your feet in the sand of Las Dunas beach, take a lazy break on Cala Chica or Calaceite beach, before going to Vilchez beach to eat tapas in front of the sea. If El Morche beach is worth the detour for its practicality, its numerous shops and its infrastructures, Ferrara beach is worth the detour. More than 1200 meters long, it is perfect for families who come in large numbers to plant their parasol. It is also the ideal place to enjoy water sports activities: water skiing, bodyboarding, windsurfing, swimming lessons, scuba diving, jet-skiing, paddle or surfing, all of which will delight both aficionados and novices alike during your stay in Torrox Costa!
