With five main islands and numerous islets, the Balearic Islands offer an incredible diversity of landscapes. On the largest island of Majorca you will not only enjoy the world-famous beaches and creeks but also the protected areas of the Sierra de Tramuntana which rises to more than 1400 meters. The other islands of Menorca, Ibiza, Formentera and Cabrera offer no less contrasts and are ideal destinations for relaxing, swimming and many water sports. Not far from each other, these different islands are easily accessible and you can, by staying on one of them, offer you some escapades on the others.
The two most popular islands of the Balearic archipelago, Majorca and Ibiza, are also the most beautiful patrimonial elements. On the island of Majorca, the visit of the capital, Palma, is an unavoidable step. You can admire the fabulous Cathedral of Palma, the Almudaina Palace, Bellver Castle and the Plaza Mayor. To the north of the island, Alcúdia is also an unmissable destination for its bay with crystal clear waters but also for its ancient medieval town and its proximity to the Roman city of Pollença. On Ibiza, discover the traces of the many civilizations that have occupied it and which have earned it an inscription on Unesco World Heritage : the Phoenician site of Sa Caleta, the necropolis of Puig des Molins, the historical center of Eivissa...
With a splendid environment, the Balearic Islands are ideal places for outdoor recreation. You can walk the hiking trails of the national park of Cabrera, Cami de Cavalls which makes the tour of the island of Menorca or the Sierra de Tramuntana on Mallorca.
