With Nendaz, Verbier, Bruson, Thyon and La Tzoumaz, Veysonnaz and the 6th resort of the immense "4 Vallées" ski area. Family and dynamic, this highly prized municipality is located in the heart of central Valais, Switzerland, only sixty kilometres from the French border. Thanks to its connection to the third largest ski area in Europe, Veysonnaz offers a wide range of activities, both in winter and summer.

Perched at an altitude of 1350 metres in the middle of the snow-covered valleys of the Valais Alps, Veysonnaz is a small, charming mountain village. With its excellent location, generous sunshine and unforgettable views of the Rhone Valley, Veysonnaz offers its visitors an ideal gateway to the "4 Valleys". A true white paradise spread over more than 400 kilometres of slopes for all levels, this area will allow skiers, beginners and advanced, to enjoy excellent quality snow. Veysonnaz, the lowest ski resort in the "4 Valleys", is connected to the resorts of Nendaz, Verbier, Thyon and Tzoumaz, but also to the unmissable Mont-Fort, the highest peak perched at an altitude of 3300 metres. You will find slopes for all levels, adapted to all desires, such as the Mayens piste, the Cheminée piste or the Inalpe piste; but if there is one piste not to be missed, it is certainly the famous Ours piste: created in 1969, this mythical descent of more than 2 kilometres promises vertiginous sensations to the most daring skiers (630 metres of altitude difference for a slope at 51%!). It is not for nothing that the latter has already been used at more than 30 Ski World Cups! If you are an experienced skier and like the immense immaculate spaces, then we advise you to take the 7 off-piste routes (marked by black and yellow poles) that cross the domain from one end to the other. As for Nordic skiing, Veysonnaz has a very beautiful itinerary of more than 8 kilometres, both wild and sporty, which will allow you to discover some of the most beautiful panoramas of the resort. On this subject, whether you are skiing, walking or snowshoeing, visit Mont-Fort, which offers breathtaking views of the entire area and a large part of the Alps. To change a little from the traditional ski runs, opt for a moonlight skiing session or a game of "Ski Mistery", a fun treasure hunt that will please children and parents alike! Snowshoeing along the Maggrapé trail and the "Chottes de la Combyre", snowtubing, sledging, ice skating, ski touring, freeriding, snowboarding, torchlight descent, film screenings and visits to educational farms will not fail to punctuate your stay in the Swiss mountains.

During the summer, more than 300 kilometres of marked hiking trails running through the forests and along the bisses (irrigation canals collecting glacier water) will allow you to make many excursions, whether you are a seasoned walker or a contemplative walker. We recommend the 10 km long "Ancien Bisse de Chervé" trail, the 8 km "Bisse de Vex" and "Masques" trails, but also the "Vieux village de Veysonnaz" and "la Mayens de Veyronnaz" trails to discover all the faces of the town. If you are rather an enthusiast of the "little queen", then know that the resort of Veysonnaz has a lot to offer you, both in terms of cycling and aesthetics thanks to its 1000 kilometres of itineraries criss-crossing the most beautiful corners of the "4 Vallées" domain: the "Tour de la Printse" is worth a visit, as is the road linking Thyon to Sion, the "Tour Thyon - Mayens-de-l'Ours - Veysonnaz", or, if you are a seasoned sportsman, the "Tour du Mont Fort" in pro or easy rider version. If with all these ideas you still find some free time for other activities, then why not try paragliding, freefall (with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc, Grand Combin and Matterhorn), off-road scooter riding, via ferrata, climbing, archery, mountaineering or mountain biking? Even more unforgettable: a course of Alpine Horn or a yoga session at sunrise at an altitude of 3300 metres...
