Just 20 kilometres from the sea, at the foot of the most beautiful mountains in the Alps, Peymeinade is an ideal destination for all lovers of peace and quiet and authentic holidays.

It is at the foot of the Cabris hill that the village of Peymeinade takes place. Stretching all the way to the Siagne, in the heart of wooded valleys planted with olive trees, it enjoys a perfect location just a few minutes from the most beautiful beaches of Cannes and Mandelieu-la-Napoule, on the Mediterranean coast. To discover all the contours, we can only recommend that you forget your car and prefer gentle trips, on foot or by bicycle; in addition to being eco-friendly, you can enjoy all the most beautiful corners of the city at your own pace. Pass by its old train station, the centenary square planted with an olive tree (symbol of peace), to discover all the charm of the streets of Peymeinade: here, old stones and Roman tiles rub shoulders in perfect harmony with pastel houses decorated with blue or green shutters and planted with fragrant orange trees, lavender and oleanders. Walk along the Avenue Boutiny, the Place Gervais Court, the Square Joseph Cauvin and finally linger on the side of the Saint-Marc chapel. Adored by the inhabitants, this 18th century chapel is renowned for its beautiful decorations, and its murals representing scenes of rural life at the time. After finally taking a walk around the side of the Saint-Roch church to admire the panorama of Cabris from its forecourt, and discovering the beautiful 18th and 19th century houses built in its neighbourhood, set off on the Siagne canal. Set up to facilitate the pedestrian and cycling movements of visitors, it will lead you, along the water, to the old districts of Jacourets and Jaïsous, to finally allow you to penetrate a little deeper through the abundant nature that displays its contours. Whether you are on mountain bike, on foot or on horseback, during your hikes through the forest of Peygros, Candéou and Appié, all the richness and scents of the local flora will be offered to you. From cork oaks to huge clumps of dazzling mimosas, not forgetting the Cabris hillside planted with olive trees, the panoramas, both peaceful and picturesque, will not fail to make you succumb to the astonishing beauty of the place. Lovers of botany? Then take a tour of the Domaine du Mas de l'Olivine: planted with fragrant essences to make your head spin, this family estate is set in the heart of an olive grove of more than 300 trees and is home to some of the most emblematic flowers of the Pays de Grasse that you will be able to discover during this visit. Iris, lilies, jasmine and roses have made the reputation of the region, and are used in perfumery and confectionery to combine olfactory and gustatory pleasures!

At about fifteen minutes from Peymeinade, the lake of Saint-Cassien is a must during your stay. Nicknamed by some the "jewel of the eastern Var", this splendid lake in the mountains is a privileged place for your outings in the green. Here, you can go hiking thanks to a whole range of itineraries through the massifs, but also go swimming, and go for a ride on a pedal boat or a windsurf according to your desires. Finally, the beaches of the Mediterranean are only about twenty kilometres from Peymeinade, so it would be a shame not to make a little detour there, to enjoy the beauty of the coastline bordering Cannes and Mandelieu-la-Napoule.
