Located not far from the Gironde and Royan estuaries, Saint-Georges-de-Didonne is ideally located on the coast and will allow hiking and cycling enthusiasts to discover numerous trails, which will lead them to La Tremblade, Île d'Oléron, La Rochelle and Île de Ré for the most enduring. No worries if you travel with little ones, you will find along the coast many activities to do with the family, such as visiting the Palmyre zoo (20 minutes away), or the Gironde Estuary Park.
On foot, by bike or by rosalie (the ideal means of transport for an afternoon of laughter), take the time to stroll through the maze of narrow streets of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne : you will discover chic neighbourhoods where Charentaise houses rub shoulders with cosy seaside villas. Walk along the coastal path to breathe the fresh sea air. The alternation of long beaches and small coves makes it the ideal place for relaxing moments.
