About forty kilometres from Bastia, in the department of Haute-Corse, the seaside resort of Moriani-Plage lies along the beaches of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Located in the municipality of San-Nicolao, it is one of the most popular destinations on the Costa Verde, with 17 kilometres of gently sloping beaches perfect for family bathing. And the inhabitants have reason to be proud of their town since Moriani-Plage has one of the largest beaches in the whole Isle of Beauty. Extremely popular with holidaymakers, Moriani beach unveils several hundred metres of fine golden sand, perfect for lazing in the sun. Supervised in summer, accessible to people with reduced mobility, it is lined with a few restaurants where you can sit down to sip a drink while admiring the sunset.
