In 1974, the station of Puy-Saint-Vincent 1600 was born, second station of the ski area. More modern than its older sister located below (Puy-Saint-Vincent 1400), its new facilities have considerably enriched the station's offer. It must be said that the Puy-Saint-Vincent ski area has many advantages. Its geographical position allows it to be incredibly well protected from the wind. The result is a very good snow and sunshine very favorable throughout the season. The possibilities are immense in Puy-Saint-Vincent : 75 kilometers of tracks accessible to all levels, it makes you want it ! There is also a snowpark and a boardercross that will delight skiers of all sorts. Finally, there is no lack of Nordic space, which allows cross-country skiing for up to 28 kilometers. In Puy-Saint-Vincent 1600, you will also find a skating rink and a sledge area. Ideal for non-skiers, who can enjoy the joys of skiing with family or friends ! What more ?

We had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant "Les Vallois" in Vallouise (while our apartment is free). Very good table, with mountain specialities. Friendly and competent staff. Super cheese and sausage shop: "Le Saisonnier" in Puy Saint Vincent. Very professional.

Great stay, lacks a bit of entertainment. Otherwise, a great ski area.
