40 kilometres north of Mont-de-Marsan, the village of Luxey is located in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, on the border with the Gironde department. About fifty minutes from Biscarosse and its beaches, and 80 kilometres from Bordeaux, Luxey is located in the canton of Haute Lande Armagnac. A very green destination, it is in this charming town that the Petite Leyre river has its source. Luxey is renowned for being the perfect destination for those who like to party in a good mood and conviviality in Aquitaine. The "Musicalarue" Festival in August, but also the numerous annual festivals and events such as the traditional St. John's Day celebrations keep inhabitants and visitors busy throughout the year.
