Explore Pays de la Loire

In Pays de la Loire, the coastline presents an incredible variety of landscapes. Between sandy beaches, rocky coasts, small isolated coves and large resorts, each one finds its happiness. On the Cote d'Amour, the coast of Jade, the Vendée coast or the Pays de Retz, it is possible to practice all nautical activities : sailing, surfing, kite-surfing, sand yachting, kayaking, water skiing, diving , Fishing... If you want a wide open sea, join the island of Yeu or the island of Noirmoutier, real jewels of the Atlantic. You can also enjoy the beauty of the ocean by following its shore along the Douaniers trail (GR8) or in the serenity of a thalassotherapy center (La Baule, Pornichet, Les Sables-d'Olonnes, Saint-Jean-de-Monts...).
Then go on the many footpaths, on foot, by bike or on horseback to discover the riches of the region. Visit the magnificent castles of the Loire (Montsoreau, Serrant, Brissac, Plessis-Bourre...), the superb Abbey of Fontevraud, the oriental park of Maulévrier, the large park of Puy-du-Fou. Nantes, enjoy the castle of the Dukes of Brittany and the mirror of water that borders it, stroll along the banks of the Loire, let yourself be impressed by the Machines of the island and by the splendor of the Gothic cathedral Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul. In Angers, discover the 17-tower castle, its gardens and the famous tapestry that houses it : the Apocalypse hanging from the 14th century.
But many other cities contain treasures such as Le Mans with its Cité Plantagenêt (houses with wood panels, Renaissance hotels), its cathedral Saint-Julien and its abbey of Laval, Laval with its medieval fortress and its museum Naïf Art, Saumur with its castle and its national school of riding, the Black Frame, or La Roche-sur-Yon for its beautiful place Napoleon and its National Stud.
