At the heart of the Valley of the Tarentaise, it is one of the privileged destinations of the lovers of the ski and the relaxation. Or between friends, the pleasures of Les Arcs vary every day and according to the season. In winter, the joys of skiing and the mountain landscapes await you on four altitudes. In summer, sport and relaxation are the keywords in each of the villages.
Arc 1950, it is the top station of the site of Les Arcs. It is the last to have been born, it combines skillfully calm, well-being and winter sports since its creation in 2003. Its position on the domain makes it an undeniable crossroads from other resort villages. Its charming traditional architecture hides high quality establishments that have largely contributed to its reputation.
We come above all to the Arcs for winter sports. With its 200 km ski area, which gathers about 100 pistes, the reputation of the resort is no more to do ! It also benefits from a good sunshine which illuminates your descents. Moreover, les Arcs are part of the large domain of Paradiski (created over the past ten years) which also includes the resorts of Peisey Vallandry and La Plagne. It is easy to move between the three resorts to enjoy a total of 600 kilometers of slopes and several snowparks... the paradise of skiers !
Relaxation is also on the program at Arc 1950. Meet at the newest "Deep Nature Spa" for a relaxing break in a unique place. This 1,000 m² space has everything you need to recover from long days of skiing : swimming pools, jet pools, hammams, saunas, a Norwegian shower, jacuzzi, massages... all in a very "design" setting. Also, entertainment is often scheduled in the early evening in the heart of the resort for young and old (inflatable structures, tastings of local specialties, extreme sports demonstrations,...). At 1950 meters above sea level, temperatures are falling quickly : prepare warm clothes !
Gourmands are also honored at Arc 1950. Savoie is renowned for its rich and delicious gastronomy, and the resort makes you benefit from every street corner. Passage obligé at the Gourmet Montagnard, shop dedicated to regional products. Delicatessen (especially : sausage with chanterelles), Savoyard cheeses, local wines, jams and genépi houses... A mountain of flavors to taste on the spot or take home ! Then let your child's soul guide you to the Sweet Waterfall, sweets shop and chocolates. Its colorful candies, ice-creams and other sweet dishes will delight young and old alike. Finally, the Wood Bear Café is not to be missed. Breakfast, relaxing break in the afternoon or a hearty meal, this restaurant-café is perfect for all your small or big appetites ! It offers a well-stocked menu with local and international dishes. We especially retain the tasty house burgers and the many pastries : Banana bread, red fruit cheesecake, pear crumble... The "Table des Lys" is an excellent address (although not very well known because it is slightly off-center). Is well worth a visit. Excellent service, hearty and original dishes, and a sunny terrace (remember to book) : pure happiness !
