Right in the middle of the Haute Tarentaise valley, not far from the Vanoise National Park, Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise lies in the heart of a generous and preserved natural setting. Authentic and typical family resort-village, with its traditional houses and its high fir trees, it makes each year the happiness of the ski lovers and large spaces.

Located on the plateau of Bonconseil, the resort of Sainte-Foy will delight skiers and snowboarders who are reluctant to set foot in the big crowded resorts. With its immense spaces and its undeniably friendly side, it allows everyone to enjoy the pleasures of the mountain in complete freedom. With its hamlet listed as a Historic Monument thanks to its rich architectural heritage, Sainte-Foy invites you to stroll along its narrow streets dotted with wooden, lauze and stone chalets, but also houses with columns and chapels, in a warm atmosphere typical of small mountain villages.

Between 1550 and 2620 metres above sea level, the ski resort of Sainte-Foy is surrounded by trees: with its 41 kilometres of skiing and 26 slopes served by 6 ski lifts, its hiking routes and its popular off-piste sites, it will delight all ski lovers. But Sainte-Foy is above all famous for its off-piste through virgin valleys, powdery passes and immaculate valleys. For off-piste sessions in complete safety, the resort has created zones entirely dedicated to this practice, accessible to holidaymakers with a good level of skiing : the "Natur' Shaper Paradise", the "Natur' Morion" and the "Natur' Crystal Dark", three perfect black runs to explore the most secret corners of the resort, such as the different slopes of the Aiguille in particular. You can also visit the hamlet of Le Monal, or the Vallon du Clou, perched at an altitude of 2000 metres : between glaciers and valleys, it is one of the most beautiful places in Savoie. The "Natur' Shaper paradise" will finally delight freestyle enthusiasts who will be able to take off on its modules and try out black country freestyle. Why don't you try heliskiing ? It is certainly one of the most unforgettable practices of the whole range of activities offered by the mountain : with a helicopter as a ski lift, you will access secret, virgin and absolutely magnificent playgrounds like the slopes of the northern façade of Foglettaz or the mythical descents of the Ruitor glacier. Located not far from Italy, Sainte-Foy allows drops directly on the snowy slopes of the country to boot.

Sainte-Foy is also the country of cross-country skiing and hiking : we advise you to go as far as the village of Séez to enjoy its superb 18 km long loop through the snow-covered plateaus. Snowshoes are also one of the best ways to discover Sainte-Foy and its surroundings during walks through spruces and larch trees. The itineraries of "Plan Bois", the Cascade and the "Drains de Plan Saint André" are to be done absolutely ! Because it's not just skiing in the mountains, Sainte-Foy has two wellness centres where women and men can enjoy massages, modelling, body and face care, as well as the benefits of hammams, saunas and jacuzzis. To enjoy your stay in the mountains in a different way, Sainte-Foy offers a wide range of activities : during the winter, you can drive on ice, ski touring, snowboarding, paragliding, ski joëring, snowkiting, ice diving, dog sledding, tobogganing, overnight in an igloo... Or even ski touring. In all, 5 marked routes cross the resort.

Finally, during the summer, Sainte-Foy offers countless opportunities for activities, from hiking in the listed village of Le Monal to accrobranche outings, golf, tennis, via cordota du Crôt or climbing. Whitewater sports are also on the agenda thanks to Sainte-Foy's proximity to one of the most beautiful basins in France, the Isère. You can go rafting, canyoning or swimming. A favourite playground for cyclists, the Haute Vallée de la Tarentaise is a great place for bicycle excursions : cross-country, discovery hikes, mountain biking on the bike park modules, electric mountain bike hire or just a relaxing stroll... You will have understood, in the summer in Sainte-Foy, everything is allowed !
